I haven’t broken out the tissues yet but I am really liking it and about half way though!

Both books were good! Bad Feminist is the first I have read directly related to feminism but I liked it and that there were a lot of pop culture references as well.

  1. Oh I didn’t realize you had a bookstagram, following you now! And wow, I actually really love the variety of books you’ve read/accumulated this week. The only one I recognize is I’ll Give You The Sun because it’s been talked about a lot in the blogosphere. It’s sort of nice to see something different on a blog. 🙂

  2. I’ll Give You the Sun is amazing! I never thought Nelson could get better than The Sky Is Everywhere, but I seem to have fallen in love with her books all over again…
    I love your instagram pictures!

Thank you! I have a feeling when I finish I’ll Give You the Sun I will be going right out to read The Sky is Everywhere!

I am liking I’ll Give You the Sun so far but I knew the writing was a little different going in so that didn’t get in my way. Also, I need to read Wicked myself – but I love that cover so much and makes for pretty photos!

Oh i know 0 so many books! I try to be selective too but sometimes I can’t help it!

  3. I’ve seen I’ll Give You the Sun around SO much since it came out (and even before) but I still haven’t actually picked up a copy… I can’t wait to see what you think about that one! I haven’t heard of most of the others though. I hope you enjoy all of your new reads!

I agree I saw I’ll Give You the Sun so much I had to finally just pick it up – so far I really like it!

  4. Lola

Sounds like you had a good reading weke. I haven’t heard of any of the new books you got this week, although I have seen I’ll Give you the Sun around on a few other blogs. I like the colours on the cover for This Raging Light. I like your bookish pictures! Have a great week and enjoy your new books!

  5. I’ll Give You The Sun was one of my favorite books this year. I hope you like it, and can’t wait to read your review! I haven’t heard of the other books, except for Bad Feminist. One of my friends is reading that. Enjoy your books and have a great week!

I agree that the Aziz book looks awesome! I got the audio too so I am hoping it makes it even funnier!

Thanks – What You Left Behind was really good. Like that we got it from a teen single father’s perspective – it was different.
