Weekly Rewind ~ 3.26.17

Posted March 26, 2017 by Grace @ Rebel Mommy Book Blog in Weekly Rewind / 52 Comments

Weekly Rewind is a weekly feature where I will recap posts, books read, books bought and borrowed and whatever else from the past week. I’ve linked to The Sunday Post hosted by  Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
I definitely had a better reading week. Still busy but was able to make time. Still knitting! I am working on a scarf. It is going slow but steady. My daughter wound up getting sick on Thursday and found out it was strep on Friday so we had two days of a floppy five year old. Hoping my son stays healthy!! I am having lunch with some friends today who I haven’t seen in awhile so I am excited about that. Hope you all had a geat week!

I have wanted the Attachments audio for so long and since it was on sale the add on audio option was cheap so I scooped it up!!

I got Final Girls around a month or so ago and I’m really looking forward to it! The Light We Lost has a gorgeous cover. I hadn’t seen this book around so I have to check it out.
I hope your daughter is feeling better! Have fun at lunch! And have a lovely week!

  2. You should us your knitting progress, Grace! I want to start knitting too, but I don’t know if I have the time right now. There’s that and cross-stitching that I’m fascinated by.
Aww I’m sorry to hear about your daughter. I really hope she feels better soon. I’m very curious about A Million Junes, so I’ll keep an eye out for your review. Blurred Lines! I hope you enjoy that one too. 🙂
Happy reading and have a good week ahead!

  3. Hope your daughter is feeling better! I’ve always wanted to try knitting, but not sure if it’s for me since I have two left hands and a short attention span 🙂 Looks like you had a great reading week! I didn’t know there was a second book after Undecided! I haven’t read Undecided yet, but hoping to read it soon so maybe I can follow it up with Undeclared 🙂

  4. Blurred Lines is a good Lauren Layne, but it’s not without its annoying moments. Still, the overall story is a good one and the chemistry between Ben and Parker was great. I can’t wait to read your thoughts on that one.

You are really making great progress through the Harry Potter books, go you!

I’ve got my fingers crossed for your son because having been sick the last week myself, it’s not fun so I’d hate to see you have to deal with two sick kids. Yikes. Hugs from L.A. County!

  5. Strep is no fun. I feel like we keep passing it around our house. Now my hubby and daughter are better, I’m feeling crummy. It never fails!! I hope your daughter is feeling better and your son stays healthy! Yay for lunch with friends!
I’m happy to see you have a copy of Final Girls. It’s good!! Can’t wait to see what you think of it. I loved Attachments – so dang cute.
    Have a great week!
