Weekly Rewind ~ 2.21.16

Posted February 21, 2016 by Grace @ Rebel Mommy Book Blog in Uncategorized / 43 Comments

Weekly Rewind is a weekly feature where I will recap posts, books read, books bought and borrowed and whatever else from the past week. I’ve linked to The Sunday Post hosted by  Caffeinated Book Reviewer and Stacking the Shelves hosted by  Team Tynga’s Reviews.
It was a short week with President’s Day and My husband and I leaving for our trip to Indiana on Friday. Right now I am probably on my way home. If they Hoosiers won it will be a lovely flight. If they lost, well, I hope I sleep to avoid the husband and his crankiness. Otherwise it was a pretty boring week and that is a good thing in my book 🙂

This week in blog posts

Quote of the Week

“There is a moment, a cusp, when the sum of gathered experience is worn down by the details of living. We are never so wise as when we live in this moment.”
― Paul Kalanithi, When Breath Becomes Air

How was your week? Get any or read any amazing books?

  1. That quote makes me want to read All the Light We Cannot See. I hope that things went well in Indiana. I don’t follow sports so I don’t know.
I am reading Hidden Bodies as well this week. I am so excited to get more Joe in my life, lol. Have a great week!

  2. I just finished Hidden Bodies last night and enjoyed it a lot more than You. I loved All the Light We Cannot See and can’t wait to see what you think of it. Sounds like a nice trip with your husband. My husband and I haven’t been away together just the two of us very often but it has been wonderful the few times we have been able to do it.

  4. Ohhh, what is Hidden Bodies about? I haven’t seen that one before! I read All the Light We Cannot See last year, it was okay. It was a beautiful story, and the end really got me, but I was kind of bored throughout :X Hopefully you enjoy it! Hope you have a lovely week!
