Weekly Rewind ~ 2.19.17

Posted February 19, 2017 by Grace @ Rebel Mommy Book Blog in Weekly Rewind / 46 Comments

Weekly Rewind is a weekly feature where I will recap posts, books read, books bought and borrowed and whatever else from the past week. I’ve linked to The Sunday Post hosted by  Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
So this week was a much better week. My husband was home so that was a plus. Valentine’s Day was cute for the kids. They had little parties at school and came home with lots of Valentines and candy. We went out to lunch with their Grandma and Great Grandma which was really nice. Hubby brought home chocolate covered strawberries for me so I was pretty pumped. The kids had off Friday for President’s Day weekend so we went to visit my parents and my Grandma. I got to go out some friends for dinner Saturday which is always good.  Hope you all had a great week!

  1. The little parties at school for V-day sounds so cute! How come I never had those at my school? Ha!
And yum! Chocolate-covered strawberries. Sounds like a great way to spend Valentine’s Day!
I’m so excited for the new Emery Lord! I’m looking forward to your thoughts on Undeclared.
Have a lovely week ahead, Grace!

  2. Oh chocolate covered strawberries! Your husband is a keeper!

Can you believe I’ve never read the Harry Potter series? I know, a shocker. I have watched a few of the movies, and I think that’s as far as I’ll ever get with them.

Denton’s Littles looks interesting. I got a copy of Undeclared as well and finished it yesterday. I’ll be interested to hear what you think. Wonderful post, Grace! 🙂

  3. I’ve been wanting to read My (Not So) Perfect Life….and I hope to find more time for reading this week.

Thanks for sharing, and enjoy! (And, apparently, I have too many URLs in my comment, so check in at Kimberly’s…I’m posting at my Rainy Days and Mondays site).

  4. My hubby brought me chocolate cover strawberries too..so good. He also bought me a Valentine snow globe. It was adorbs and I set it on my desk. Yesterday I tripped, hit said desk and it fell off and shattered. Damn if you cannot buy it anywhere as it is discontinued. *hangs head* Glad the kids had fun and time was spent with the grandparents. That is so sweet. Love the meme!

  5. I’m glad that you had such a great week Grace, your Valentines day sounds perfect! I also received a copy of Undeclared and despite some not so great reviews I’ve been reading, I made a start this morning and I’m quite enjoying it. Also I can’t wait for The Whole Thing Together, can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it! I hope you have a great week!

  6. I have to admit I don’t remember President’s Day being a thing until this year. Mind you, I’m always happy for a reason to have a public holiday so think we should institute a Prime Minister’s Day version!

I’m glad the kids enjoyed Valentine’s Day and happy you got a treat!

  7. I’m glad you had a good week! Man, I wish my university got President’s Day off. I can’t wait to hear what you thought of When We Collided! I adored Inexplicable Logic, so I hope you enjoy it, too. And I also have The Whole Thing Together and The Names They Gave Us waiting for me to read them– hopefully I’ll get to them soon. Happy reading this week, Grace! 🙂
