Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish.
his week is Top Ten New-To-Me Favorite Authors I Read For The First Time In 2015. So it is more like a top 13 but whatever.

Those I Found Because Other Bloggers Always Rave

Sarah Dessen // Kasie West// Morgan Matson // Sarah J Maas // Marissa Meyer

All of these ladies were all I heard about when I started blogging. They were everywhere. I found out everyone was right!

Those I Found Because of ARCs

Renee Carlino // Taylor Jenkins Reid // Jennifer Weiner // Courtney C. Stevens // Jennifer E. Smith

Some of these authors I had heard of, some of them I hadn’t but regardless I got an ARC and loved it. I have since started buying, reading and adding prior books to my wishlist.

Those I Found Because of Gifts

Autumn Doughton // Erica Cope

Thanks to Eva for this! I have already bought another from this duo!

Those I Found Because There Was A Freakin Raccoon on the Cover

Jenny Lawson

She is my best friend. Really. I could listen to her ALL DAY. I need more books now.

What authors have you discovered this year?

  1. I just read that Taylor Jenkins Reid book a few weeks ago and liked it, so yeah I would read more of her stuff too. And I’ve been thinking of trying Sarah Maas’ stuff since they get such raves.

Yes to Jenny Lawson! She is so fantastic. When I need a laugh I head over to her blog.

I like how you separated the list this week. I’ve read Cinder (and Jenny Lawson’s first book) but that’s it. You have a bunch of authors that are on my TBR. Especially Sarah Dressen. Everyone raves about her! Hopefully next year I can get to some of these! 🙂

  3. Furiously Happy without a doubt wins the title of best book cover. Nothing can top a happy raccoon. I’ve still not picked up a Sarah Dessen book yet, I’ll get there eventually I just need to start with the right book. I’ve heard a lot of wonderful things about Courtney C. Stevens’ work and hopefully I’ll get to read The Lies About Truth next year.

    • Raccoon covers for the win!! Seriously I love that cover though. Oh I am like so easily Blogger Peer Pressured. Thank god I wasn’t like that when I was in school or it would have been bad. I guess book peer pressure is ok 🙂
