toptentuesdayTop Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and The Bookish.
This week is books set outside the US. I think I have more than 10. I also think a lot are set in the UK and France. Β Oh and Guernsey – always Guernsey.

What are your favorite books set outside the US? What is your favorite setting for a book?

Whoo, I’m so excited to see the Cormoran Strike series in your post – it doesn’t get nearly enough love on the blogosphere, which is crazy because I think it’s just getting progressively better. The Nightingale and Salt to the Sea are two books that have been on a TBR for a long while now- I’ve seen those a lot for this week’s TTT. πŸ™‚ Great post!

  2. I’m so bummed I missed TTT this week! I was looking forward to choosing books with a non-U.S. setting. But alas, ran out of time. (Real life got in the way, how dare it!) But I love seeing your picks. The Nightingale and The Girl You Left Behind are both ones that I loved. Had I found the time to post, I would have also included The Bronze Horseman (Russia), Outlander (Scotland) and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Sweden).
