Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the Broke and the Bookish.
his week is books I love but haven’t talked about in a while. I may have brought these up at some point but I read almost all of them pre-blogging or right when I started. I really enjoyed all of these and don’t see them around as much as some other books.

Tell the Wolves I’m Home
The Girl You Left Behind
What Alice Forgot
The Glass Castle
Defending Jacob
Where’d You Go, Bernadette
Making Faces
On the Island
Reconstructing Amelia
The Lovely Bones

What are some books you love but haven’t talked about in a while?

  1. I have another book by Jeanette Walls on my list today, “Half Broke Horses.” Have you read that one?

I also loved “Where’d You Go, Bernadette” and “The Girl You Left Behind,” but I feel like I mention them quite a bit!

“Tell the Wolves I’m Home” and “Defending Jacob” are on my to-read list. Hope to enjoy them as much as you did! 🙂

  2. Yay, I read six of these and really enjoyed them, but there were just too many books and authors for me to recall to put on my list today. I read: The Glass Castle, On the Island, Bernadette, The Lovely Bones (and saw the movie), What Alice Forgot and Defending Jacob. Very good choices! We have much in common this week.

  3. LOVE Reconstructing Amelia and Where’d You Go Bernadette. I didn’t include Bernadette on my list because I talk about it so much and tell everyone to read at every opportunity lol. I still haven’t read The Girl You Left Behind so but i loved Me Before You so i’ll probably try that next!

  4. As I stick to Young Adult books I haven’t read any of these. I have seen the movie of The Lovely Bones which was sadly terrible. The book is so highly praised I expect that it’s much better.

  5. Love seeing your picks, Grace! Reconstructing Amelia has been on my TBR for quite a while. It’s not my usual type of read but the synopsis really hooked me. And Making Faces… I’ve been holding off reading that one for SO long… just so I can prolong the anticipation (I do this all the time with books I’m dying to read). And like you mentioned on my post, we share two of the some picks! On the Island just had me so completely invested in Anna and T.J. I couldn’t stop thinking about them. And The Girl You Left Behind – it was Sophie’s story that captivated me and tore at my heart.

  6. Oh-hohoho…great list, Grace! I loved What Alice Forgot, The Lovely Bones, and The Glass Castle. Defending Jacob was a good read but I also felt it had some flaws. Having recently read Amy Harmon (A Different Blue) and Jojo Moyes (Me Before You), I’m really looking forward to reading more from them both. And I happen to already own Making Faces. Yay! I have On the Island sitting on my shelf…guess I need to pick up that one. And I’ve always been curious about Tell the Wolves I’m Home and Where You’d Go, Bernadette. I’m guess they’re pretty good since they made your list. 🙂 Thanks for sharing some love for these books, Grace!
