Top Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish.

Today I go over my Top Ten Authors I Really Want to Meet.

From my Top Ten Authors of All Time

Colleen Hoover

Why? Her books are awesome. She seems kind of nuts on social media (I mean that as a compliment BTW). And I love her.

Rainbow Rowell

Why? Because she is Rainbow f*ckin’ Rowell. That’s why.

Emily Giffin

Why? She seems to be obsessed with royal family too. Yay for Princess Charlotte!

Amy Harmon

Why? She seems sweet and  her books make me have all the feelings.

I’m Here For the party

TTT51215partyJennifer L. Armentrout
Jay Crownover
Jenny Han
Stephanie Perkins

These ladies all seem like they are fun (this is all based on my impressions from things like social media so it has to be true). I would love to hangout, have a drink or what not. Plus I love their books so there is that too.

Gillian Flynnttttwisty

Tarryn Fisher

Their books are so messed up, dark and twisty. Are they??? I need to know!

Great list! Of these, I’ve met JLA, Stephanie Perkins, and Rainbow Rowell, and all of them were lovely! I’d be mildly terrified to meet Gillian Flynn, but in the best way 🙂

Oh that is awesome – I hope you get a spot to meet her! And I am so glad to hear Stephanie Perkins is the sweetest!!

Oh I am pretty sure I would be such a total nerd when if I ever get to meet her!! And yes Gillian Flynn would be a bit scary.

  2. Ah, good choices! I don’t read too much in YA or chick-lit but you have some famous ladies up there! Would be an awesome party if all of them showed up, lol. Seriously, I do want to read Colleen Hoover and Rainbow Rowell, very much cross-over genre authors. Gillian Flynn and Tarryn Fisher, I’ve read one book each. Mud Vein, wow, did you read that? Unusual to say the least, but so emotional.

Mud Vein was awesome because it was so different form anything I had ever read. I am excited to read her latest Marrow.

  3. Colleen Hoover and Rainbow Rowell definitely on my radar as genre cross-overs! Also I’ve read one by Gillian Flynn and Tarryn Fisher– Mud Vein, wow, unusual but so emotional! Enjoy and thanks for sharing.
