  2. Since You’ve Been Gone! I read that one a few summers ago now, but I remember absolutely adoring it! I’ve got her other one, The Unexpected Everything, waiting for me to pick it up, and I’m planning on reading it before summer’s over. Also, I LOVE The Fill-In Boyfriend. I think that has to be one of my favorite of Kasie West’s contemporaries, only second to On the Fence.

  3. I’m so glad to see this post from you Grace, as I may have mentioned I’ve not been feeling contemporary reads as much as I used to, but I love the books that you have recommended, as it’s making me to pick them up right away. On my Goodreads feed, Higgins and Oakley have been popping up a lot (I think thanks to you and Brandie! lol) I guess I really need to try out their books soon right!

  4. Well, I have only read one of these so far (Upside) but it would absolutely make my favorites list- of any year, not just this one! So I definitely need to get to the others (I have most of them, so I have no excuse hah). BUT, my list would be quite short because I think only Upside, and maybe Moxie would be on my favorites list that are contemporary, and I don’t think Moxie qualifies as romance even. OH wait, I know! Coming Up for Air! That would make my list too!
