Weekly Rewind ~ 5.22.16

Posted May 22, 2016 by Grace @ Rebel Mommy Book Blog in Features, Weekly Rewind / 51 Comments

Weekly Rewind is a weekly feature where I will recap posts, books read, books bought and borrowed and whatever else from the past week. I’ve linked to The Sunday Post hosted by  Caffeinated Book Reviewer and Stacking the Shelves hosted by  Team Tynga’s Reviews.
This week was pretty boring again. The weather was mostly good and we were outside as much as we could. I did get a new Fitbit so I hope it helps me to keep moving. I also got my haircut which is always nice time to relax. Towards the end of the week I haven’t really felt like reading but have been getting through season 3 of Six Feet Under.

  1. I really want a fitbit. I need that extra motivation to get off my behind these days.
Wildflower is on my TBR. I’ve always been a fan of Drew Barrymore. She’s led a pretty interesting life so far. I hope you enjoy it. 🙂

  2. I’m glad you got a new Fitbit. I’ve just joined a gym so might think about getting one down the track so I can monitor my movement (when I start going to the gym!).

Someone was just talking about Wildflower and said they were enjoying it so I hope you do too Grace.

  3. I really need to get my hair cut, I feel like it’s been forever since I last went.
I think I might invest in a Fitbit seems like something that might help motivate me to walk around more.

I hope you have a great week, Grace! Happy Reading!

  5. So glad to see you read Him. I *loved* that one! I just totally fell for both Jamie and Wesley and was pulling for them so hard. I’m excited to pick up Us soon. I’ve had the audio version of Wildflower on my Overdrive wishlist for ages but just never have checked it out. This is a great reminder that I need to do that soon. I think it’d be a great pick for my daily commute. Hope you have a great week, Grace!

  6. I love my Fitbit! I especially enjoy the quasi-guilt trip it gives me on days when I’m not moving quite as much as I should be. I’m also kind of obsessed with my sleeping stats (even if they are terrible). I hope you enjoyed Him! It’s one of my favorite M/M books. I also loved The Pact. I had a copy of Come Away With Me, but I passed it on to a friend who enjoys emotional books more than I do. Haha. Have a great week!

  7. Wildflower sounds so good. I love that quote, you almost convinced me to get it right now (i am a but overbooked at the moment tho). I need to catch up on all your posts from last week, and the week before. Six Feet Under was a such a great show. I was a funeral director when it came out (can you believe that?!) so it holds a special place in my memory. Glad to see you are enjoying it!
